Romanesque influences in medieval Norwich.

The recreated Romanesque interiors of the Norwich Castle Keep - an illustrated talk by Dr Agata Gomolka.

Royal Palace Reborn, is the name of the huge project nearing completion at Norwich Castle, recreating the Norman keep, resplendent with medieval style textiles.

Dr Agata Gomolka, Project Assistant Curator, invites you to a lunchtime talk where she'll explore the rich material world of Romanesque art that lies behind the recreation of the interiors.

Her illustrated talk will offer a journey into the artistic forms that reigned supreme across Europe at the very moment when Norwich Castle neared completion.

This talk is free but booking in advance will help us monitor numbers.
