Nature Hand Embroidery

Caroline Hyde-Brown creates artwork that brings together natural materials and stitch, and has introduced many unusual activities and workshops to the Norfolk Makers Festival over the years.

In this workshop, you will immerse yourself in the natural world and explore stem stitch, daisy stitch, chain stitch, seed stitch and textured knots.

You will learn how to couch twigs and seed pods onto a naturally dyed piece of fabric with a splash of flower and leaf printing to complete your piece.

All materials will be provided and Caroline will advise you on framing and presentation.
