Hand Spinning With Colours

Are you passionate about working with vibrant colourful fibres in your hand spinning projects?

Do you want to create yarns that preserve the distinct beauty of each hue and prevent those frustrating muddy colours?

In this three hour evening workshop from The Spinning Barn, you will learn how to maintain the vividness and integrity of colourful fibres.

You will learn about a range of techniques to prepare your fibres for spinning and focus on two methods of spinning - spinning from the fold and fractal spinning.

Your workshop will include all of the fibres you will need to spin and notes to take away with you.

Able to confidently spin a two ply yarn

Max 10 people

What you will need to bring

• your own spinning wheel

• 3 bobbins, lazy kate, niddy noddy

• scissors and spare yarn for leaders and tying skeins

While all safety measures will be taken and advice given, you participate in free activities and workshops at your own risk.
