Norfolk Makers Festival 2023 is in full swing!

What's been going on and what's still to come...

We've had a spectacular Festival so far, with so many of you coming to explore your creativity, have a go at something new, and admire amazing artwork. It's been wonderful welcoming people into The Forum, and sharing Norfolk Makers Festival with people from across Norwich and further afield!

Don't miss our charity-knitting superstar, Margaret Seaman, with her new work in progress, Knitted Buckingham Palace. After knitting Great Yarmouth Seafront, Sandringham Estate and the NHS Nightingale Hospital (or "Knittingale"), and receiving her British Empire Award, Margaret felt like Buckingham Palace was the perfect next project for her needles.

We've only got a few more days to go, with the final day of the festival being Sunday 19 March, but two of the stunning, and free, exhibitions will continue for several weeks. The Dementia Darnings, by Jenni Dutton, is on display at Norwich Cathedral in The Hostry until 1 April. You can discover more about the ongoing Grenfell Memorial Quilt project and view the completed panels at St Peter Mancroft Church until 30 March.

There's loads to see & do for free in The Forum, so drop by this weekend for your dose of inspiration and creativity!

There are also bookable workshops for those wanted to expand their knowledge and skills - check out these ones that still have some spaces available.

If you've come to visit the Festival, or any of the exhibitions, please help us by taking our survey - and be entered into a draw to win a £30 Marks & Spencer voucher!
