Norwich's Costume and Textile Association (C&TA) presents an online talk, taking you back to 16th century Korea, to examine the beautiful costumes of the royal court, as seen in the Netflix series, Kingdom.
The speaker is Dr Minjung E. Lee, an instructor at South Korea National University of Cultural Heritage and Seoul National University.
Dr Lee teaches history, aesthetics, and construction of Korean dress and applies digital reconstruction methods using digital and 3D virtual technology.
Please note that this is a pre-recorded talk due to the time difference between the UK and South Korea.
Tickets £2 - Eventbrite link at top of page.
This is one of a series of talks and events complementing the C&TA's anniversary exhibition, which is free to enter in The Forum's ground floor Gallery, throughout the Festival. See below.
The C&TA is an independent charity which celebrates Norfolk's textile heritage and raises funds to help Norfolk Museum Service improve its costume and textile collection.
While all safety measures will be taken and advice given, you participate in free activities and workshops at your own risk.
