Stich and chat with the artist who created the Tawdry exhibition.

Join local textile artis and crochet tutor, Sophie Neville, as she spends the day working alongside her exhibition, Tawdry.

Try your hand at making a crochet lace motif and stitching a crochet netting, to make a miniature piece of freeform Irish Lace.

And if you are new to crochet, learn some basic crochet stitches that you can use to get started on a project.

Sophie, a graduate of Norwich University of the Arts, creates work combining traditional craft techniques such as hand embroidery and crochet, with contemporary socio-political and feminist subjects.
