Sew and Embellish a Purse

A free activity, for children aged 8-14, brought to the Festival by the Norfolk Young Textile Group.

It will take about two hours to make a purse, and only eight young people can take part at any one time.

So, although this is a free activity, with all materials provided, you will need to book. See link at the top.

The sessions are -

10am - 12pm

12.30pm - 2.30pm

3pm - 5pm

Please note, if you book but don't arrive by the start time your place will go to another young stitcher!

The Norfolk Young Textile Group meets on the second Saturday of each month, from 10am to 2pm, at the Colman Junior School.

Meetings are £6.50 per session and all helpers are DBS checked. The group is affiliated to the Embroiderers' Guild.

While all safety measures will be taken and advice given, you participate in free activities and workshops at your own risk.
