Invent and build your own textile 'plant'.

A novel free activity from Festival regular Kally, from Woollenwood.

Find inspiration from looking at a range of plants, leaves and flowers.

Then invent your own and create it from a variety of recycled textiles, fabric shapes and yarn provided.

Wrap, tie, wind, bind, fold, pleat, stuff, gather, fringe, pom pom, wire, sew or glue elements together around a stick or object from the basket of random forms.

Give your flora a name and add to the 'Woollenwood BotaniKally' register.

Take your creation home or perhaps add it to a bouquet of community flora displayed in The Forum.

A calm and relaxing free activity, that can be adapted for all ages and abilities.

Fancy a workshop with the wonderful Kally? Choose from a daytime or evening creative session using the link below.

While all safety measures will be taken and advice given, you participate in free activities and workshops at your own risk.
