A three hour workshop for beginners.

What a lovely afternoon workshop. Learn the basics of lacemaking from some of Norfolk's friendly experts.

All tools and materials are provided and you can take home your first piece of homemade lacework.

Lace was made by hand for hundreds of years, until the Industrial Revolution, but the ancient skill is alive and well at the Norfolk Makers Festival!

You will be working with tools and learning skills that would have been familiar to 15th century craftspeople.
