A fun pick-and-stick activity for all the family.
Pick your colours to match the feathers of real bird, or create a fantastical one!
Then pick a beak – curved or straight, stubby or long – the choice is yours.
Create a paper bird that looks lovely hung in any window, or as a tree decoration. You might even create a messenger pigeon that you send to a friend in the post!
While creating, you’ll learn some simple bird ID, as well as fun facts about why birds have certain features.
The RSPB is the nation’s largest wildlife charity with over 1.5 million members. It’s a passionate, campaigning charity that has been working to protect nature since 1889.
