Kally Davidson, of Woollenwood, is a sculptural textile artist with a passion for the shapes and colours of the natural world, and for encouraging others to enjoy freeform crochet.
You are invited to join Kally for a free session to make your own ‘woolly window’, using wound and bound willow, found sticks and colourful yarn.
Let your creativity run amok as you use wool and donated crochet shapes to wrap, thread, knot and weave. Take home your unique ‘window’ to display in your home or garden.
A calm and relaxing activity, suitable for all ages and abilities.
Kally Davidson has brought a series of imaginative crochet sculptures and installations to The Forum and she is well known for her freeform work, inspired by the shapes, textures and colours of woodlands.
In addition to the free ‘woolly window’ activity, Kally is running a selection of ticketed, crochet workshops, ideal for those who want to push the boundaries of their textile creations.
Please check in at the information desk 15 minutes before your workshop and a member of staff will take you to the right place.
Each workshop can stand alone, or book all six and get one free!
