Our county's messages of support.

The Grenfell Memorial Quilt project was created by the 'artivist' Tuesday Greenidge, whose daughter escaped from the tower fire in June 2017.

The big ambition is to grow the quilt, containing messages of grief, protest and support, to the dimensions of the Grenfell Tower by the 10th anniversary of the tragedy, in 2027.

At the Norfolk Makers Festival, in March 2023, six completed sections were displayed in St Peter Mancroft Church, opposite The Forum.

As a result, Tuesday received so many contributions from Norfolk, that a 12ft x 12ft section has been created exclusively from this county's stitched messages of support and protest.

Of course, this panel has pride of place at the 2024 Festival. You will find it in the main Atrium of The Forum, hanging near the car park steps. from Monday 15 April.

There's still a lot of stitching to do, so click on the link below if you'd like to help out.
