Join #SayItWithStitchGY for a drop-in session creating textile art with meaning. In the session you can create your own mini protest banner about your love for the natural environment.
Craftivism (craft + activism) is a worldwide movement, which uses the quiet art of textiles to shout about big issues.
#SayItWithStitchGY will provide a selection of inviting upcycled and recycled materials, but feel free to bring your own along too!
You can also book on a two hour workshop at the Festival to make a heart broach, patch or decoration.
#SayItWithStitchGY is a Great Yarmouth-based Craftivism project which champions environmental causes.
The aim is to raise awareness of issues which affect us locally and globally, such as marine pollution and litter, through creating positive and inspirational textile art at pop-up workshops.
