A craft that goes back even further than the 1970s!

Did you know, macramé is generally attributed to 13th century Arab weavers?

The word is thought to come from the Arabic word for fringe, 'migramah'. But there are more theories out there if you browse!

This is an opportunity to learn some basic knots and create a simple hanging planter.

Your tutor will be Fiona Muller, who studied weaving and constructed textiles. Fiona works with community groups to inspire expression through a range of media.
