Zine Drawing

This event has already taken place.

David Shenton is a cartoonist and illustrator who lives in Norfolk and whose cartoons have appeared in many British newspapers, zines, on bar room walls and even on a gravestone in Highgate Cemetery.

He’s also the artist who created the huge mural on display at the Norfolk Makers’ Festival, which marked the 10th anniversary of Norwich Pride in Summer 2018.

Click here to read about the mural.

Meet David at the Festival and let him show you how to do some zine drawing. Your work could be part of two Norfolk Makers’ Festival zines, one by adults one by children, which will be available to buy on April Fool’s Day at The Forum.

All materials provided and no prior experience needed.

You have four zine drawing dates to chose from – see dates below – and you can enter into a competition to create titles for the zines.

If you want to learn more about David’s work and his professional life, he is giving a free talk at the Makers’ Festival.

Sat 23 Feb – 12.30 – 1.30pm – My Foolish Life
