Enjoy a glass of fizz and some nibbles and get to hear about the exciting changes happening to Norwich Sewcials as it relaunches at the Norfolk Makers Festival.
If you have ever fancied trying your hand at creating your own fashion but never dared start, or if you have been doing this for years and love all things fabric related, this group is for you!
Norwich Sewcials is a local sewing community for all those who love all things sewing. For the past three years they have run monthly meet-ups, where like-minded people gather and share their enthusiasm.
The main focus is dressmaking although there is dabbling in needle-felting, embroidery and craft workshops, plus coach trips throughout the year and regular Sew Days.
Norwich Sewcials is now relaunching and offering annual memberships, with benefits to members such as discounts at a local fabric shop, priority booking and discounted tickets for events.
Find out more from the Norwich Sewcials founders Pippa Pease (The Fabric Wrangler) and Emma Jackson (Crafty Clyde) over a drink and a snack.
The launch starts at 6.30pm. Feel free to dress fablously.
Also, the Sewcials team are at the Festival to answer your dress making questions.
