Colegate Singers is a wellbeing choir for women, which meets in central Norwich. It was founded less than a year ago and is a friendly and welcoming group.
If you would like to find out more, some members will be at the Festival on both Saturdays with information about how to get involved.
The Colegate Singers sing music from a wide variety of genres, including folk, pop, African songs, rounds, Musical Theatre and light classical music.
There is no requirement to be able to read music, but they do use sheet music for those who can read, and as a reference for those who don't.
Each session begins with physical stretches, breathing exercises and vocal warm ups, with a short break in the middle.
One of the founding members, Ellie, says,
"We round off each session with a musical setting of Julian of Norwich's famous words, 'All will be well'.
"Invariably, we end with a smile on our faces and a spring in our step.
"We would love it if you came along to join us and experience the health benefits of singing together in a welcoming and inclusive environment!"
