Boro Cloth

This event has already taken place.

Derived from the Japanese ‘boroboro’ meaning something tattered or repaired, boro refers to the practice of reworking or repairing textiles. This is done by piecing, patching and stitching.

In this workshop you will join the Norfolk Quilters to make your own piece of Boro cloth which can be used to decorate a bag or wall hanging. All materials will be provided but if you have a specific material you would like to use, you are welcome to bring it along.

Please check in at the information desk 15 minutes before your workshop and a member of staff will take you to the right place.
