The Norfolk Makers Festival is a celebration of creativity for everyone, from the curious beginner to the expert enthusiast. It's free to enter and full of free opportunities to have a go and get hands on. The programme ranges from wood carving to weaving, from sewing to sculpting, from quilting to digital art. Most events are held at The Forum, in Norwich.

Heritage and Treasures

The agony of corsets, the history of spinning, Korean royal dress and weaving icons. An anniversary exhibition in The Gallery, plus talks and films, from the Costume and Textile Association.

Paint, Draw, Print

From watercolours, lino cut printing and virtual reality drawing, to paper rolling, cartooning, fantasy map-making, and crafting with shells and mud! Free 'have-a-gos' and workshops for all ages, interests and abilities.

Self Portraits: Life Goals

The centre piece in The Forum's Atrium this year is a gallery of self portraits created by people living in Norwich, most of them using paint and charcoal for the first time. Enjoy these thoughtful snapshots and the personal messages behind them.
